Why showing up matters more than feeling ready.
We’ve all had those days where motivation feels sky-high - you wake up energized, ready to crush your workout, tackle your to-do list, and stick to your habits. But then there are the other days. The ones where you’re tired, stressed, or just don’t feel like it. If you only take action when you feel motivated, you’ll spend more time waiting than progressing.
That’s where consistency comes in.
Motivation is fleeting. It’s emotional unpredictable, and often tied to external circumstances. But consistency? That’s a choice. It’s showing up even when you don’t feel like 100%. It’s taking one small step forward instead of waiting for the “perfect time”
Think of it this way : results don’t come from one huge burst of motivation-they come from steady, repeated action. Each time you follow through, you’re building trust with yourself. You’re proving that your goals matter, no matter how you feel in the moment.
The mindset shift is this: don’t focus on being motivated, focus on being consistent.
You don’t have to do it perfectly- you just have to show up.

Perfection isn’t the goal- progress is. Aiming for 5 out of 7 days takes the pressure off “all or nothing” thinking while still building strong momentum. Missing a day doesn’t mean failure; it means you’re human. What matters is showing up more often than not.
How :
Pick your habit. Choose one small, specific action (like journaling for 5 minutes, taking a 10 minute walk, or prepping a healthy meal).
Plan ahead. Decide which of the 5 days you’ll commit to so you’re not leaving it up to chance.
Track it. Use a calendar, checklist, note app, or my 7 day tracker in store to mark each day you follow through- seeing your streak keeps you motivated.
This week, aim for 5 out of 7. By focusing on consistency instead of perfection, you’ll build resilience, trust in yourself, and real progress.

3 Ways to Build Consistency This Week
Set a “minimum standard.” Even if you can’t do your full workout or routine, commit to 5 minutes. Small actions keep your streak alive.
Stack your habit. Attach your new action to something you all ready do daily- like stretching right after brushing your teeth.
Track your wins. Use a calendar, app, notebook, or a tracker in my store to mark off each day you show up. Seeing your streak grow fuels momentum.
Remember: progress is built by consistency, not perfection. Show up for yourself this week- you’ll thank yourself later.
